The A&W Bear

Ashlee's class earns parties for good behavior. The kids make suggestions for parties and vote on them. Ashlee suggested a Rootbeer Float Party and it won. She really wanted her dad to take the rootbeer so when he suggested that he bring the "A&W Bear", I knew I was going to get to wear it! It was horrible. Even though it was winter, it was so hot in that thing I about died. I literally had sweat running down my face and there was nothing I could do, I couldn't even wipe my brow. Troy wanted me to go to Derek and Jaxon's classes too and pass out free rootbeer coins. It about killed me to walk all over the school in that thing. The kids loved it, though, so I guess it was worth it.

Jordan Bike Riding

I just plain forgot how old Jordan was getting, Jackee told me I needed to get some training wheeels on so Jordan could learn how to ride a bike. He is already five and has just been riding a scooter and a big trike. When the training wheels that I had would not fit on the bike I just told Jordan I would help him. One push and off he went. Anybody elses Dad forgot to teach them how to ride a bike?

Derek (Duct Tape) to the Rescue

I took Jaxon shopping one Saturday for his birthday party stuff. When we got home, I put his pinata and other party stuff on the table and went in the other room. I came back within 5 minutes to see that Emilee had completely destroyed his pinata. She had pulled off most of the paper and it was almost bare cardboard. Thank goodness for Derek, he said he could fix it with duct tape and went to work. He did a great job and Jaxon was very happy to have his pinata back!

Happy Birthday Jaxon!

Ok, so I know it was two months ago, but I am not very good at getting pictures off of my camera! So anyway, Jaxon had a wonderful birthday in January when he turned 7. He wanted a football party again which is what he had when he was five and Jordan had two months earlier when he turned five. It's a pretty easy cake, so I don't mind, I guess.

First he had a party with the Wardle cousins. They gave him money so he could buy his own video game and Dad and Mom gave him a bike!

He also had a friend party that was lots of fun. He has lots of friends his age in the neighborhood so we had a full house.
Money is always a hit! Playing "Heavy Heavy Hangover" adds to the fun!

The boys had lots of fun throwing darts and whacking the pinata!
