I am so grateful for the knowledge I have that Jesus Christ is our Lord and Savior. I know that through him, we can return to the presence of our Heavenly Father. I am so grateful for Jesus' example and his sacrifice for us. I know that Heavenly Father and Jesus Christ appeared to Joseph Smith and that he is a latter day prophet. I know that he translated the Book of Mormon. I have read and prayed about the Book of Mormon and I know it is true. It is a companion to the Bible and contains the teachings of our Savior.
I was born in the church and I have always believed it was true. Since I have been working on my Duty to God and studying the New Testament in Seminary, the scripture stories about Jesus Christ have begun to make more sense. I know that we need to be more like Jesus because he is the best example to try to be like.

When I was 8 years old I wasn't sure if the church was true, so one night I prayed. I knew I got my answer when a very happy feeling told me it was true. I have never doubted the church again. I know my Savior, Jesus Christ lives.
