Derek's Science Fair Project

Derek, of course, chose to use duct tape as part of his science fair project. He tested how sticky it was after soaking a piece in water, milk, vinegar, and lemon juice. The best part about it was that he got 225/225 and all he asked me to do was develop his pictures. It was the easiest science fair project I've ever been asked to help with, I loved it!

How awesome! Way better than what I did as a kid- watering plants with different liquids. He is so creative!

As a science teacher, I think that is awesome!! I was trying to think of a simple "scientific method" experiment. I'm going to steal his idea and present it as a "choice" for a project. Way to go Derek!

Funny boy. So what was the best stuff to soak duct tape in without losing its sticky surface?
